Bwindi Impenetrable forest glamour.

.

Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a prehistoric park which is nestled in the southwestern part of Uganda. It is one of the survivors of the ice age period and home to some of the left over mountain gorillas. The name Bwindi is a Lukinga word that means Impenetrable. Indeed this double meaning soots this park.

It has tall trees with thick vegetation that winds around the stems of the trees. These creeping plants at times make it difficult for trekkers to move. The mountain are shared amongst Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo. They have a hairy body and a huge size. They live in families with the silver back being the dominant Male. They search for there food that is the reason why the time for Gorilla trekking is unpredictable.

Birds are plenty in this park. They sing from the tree branches and call out to whoever cares to listen. Other primates like baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey to mention but a few.

Bwindi is a very interesting park to visit there is a lot to see a part from the mountain gorillas.
